FIRSTPROOF for MACINTOSH

Hamillroad Software is pleased to announce the availability of version 1.3 of its powerful soft-proofing and approval system on the Apple PowerMac platform. Running under either traditional Mac OS9 or the newer Mac OSX, users working on Apple Macintosh platforms are now able to make use of the power of FirstPROOF, running on their own desktop machine.

FirstPROOF is a soft proofing system that allows users of the Harlequin RIP to view and approve output from their RIP prior to imaging. With its advanced features that include the ability to view files from remote workstations, view whilst outputting, zoom in and out, rotate and mirror flip pages and many more, FirstPROOF is a highly productive tool for users of the Harlequin RIP that will consistently save them time and money.

Additionally, with the release of version 1.3 on the Apple Macintosh, Hamillroad Software have shown their commitment to the product and again pushed out the boundaries of soft-proofing systems. New features in this version include the ability to automatically check for new pages to view and approve, as well as the ability to create small previews of pages that can be exported to other applications.

FirstPROOF for Macintosh is shipping as of December 16^th and should be available through Hamillroads current partners, which include PrePress International and Xitron Incorporated.
