FIRSTPROOF v1.4 for MACINTOSH and WINDOWS
Hamillroad Software is pleased to announce the release of version 1.4 of its powerful soft-proofing and approval system on both the Apple Macintosh1 and x86 Windows2 platform. Based on a new common code base, FirstPROOF v1.4 provides improved functionality and performance, including localisation support for displaying job names in native languages such as Japanese and Chinese.
FirstPROOF is a high performance soft proofing system that allows users of the Harlequin RIP3 to view and approve output prior to imaging. With its advanced features that include the ability to view files from remote workstations, view whilst outputting, zoom in and out, rotate & mirror flip pages and much more, FirstPROOF is a high-end production tool for users of the Harlequin RIP that will consistently save them time and money.
The simultaneous release of version 1.4 on both the Apple Macintosh and x86 Windows platform using a common code base underlines Hamillroad Software's commitment to the product and the company's skills at pushing the boundaries of soft-proofing systems. New features in this version include the ability to display job names from individual RIP connections in their native language such as Japanese & Chinese, a variable size navigational thumbnail as well as a doubling in the performance of the product.
