Xitron Inc. to Bundle FirstPROOF with all RIP Sales

2nd October, 2002

Hamillroad Software is pleased to announce that it has signed a contract with Xitron Inc to bundle a single copy of FirstPROOF with all new sales of the retail version of their Navigator Harlequin RIP.

FirstPROOF is a soft proofing system that allows users of the Harlequin RIP to view and approve output from their RIP prior to imaging. With its many advanced features such as the ability to zoom in and out, rotate and mirror flip pages, view whilst outputting, and many more, FirstPROOF is a highly productive tool for users of the Harlequin RIP that will consistently save them time and money.

“Xitron fits nicely into the profile we were looking for to further sales of our products around the world,” comments Pierre Hammond, Chief Operating Officer of Hamillroad Software CC. “They are a longstanding and established Harlequin OEM with a thorough knowledge of the industry and marketplace, and will play a key part in establishing FirstPROOF as an essential tool for Harlequin RIP users”.

Xitron will be showing FirstPROOF on their stand at the upcoming Graph Expo 2002 in Chicago, USA (in Oct), and expects to start shipping the Navigator/FirstPROOF bundle shortly afterwards.

“We are thrilled to have this unique offering for all Harlequin RIP customers,” says R. Patrick French, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Xitron. And he continues, “By adding this enhancement to our Navigator Harlequin RIP we once again prove our commitment to respond to our customer’s requests and provide the tools necessary to improve efficiency.”
